Knowledge of JavaScript debugging and profiling tools

Knowledge of utility JavaScript libraries (jQuery, Underscore.js, etc.)

Ability to easily adapt to JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, Ember.js, Backbone.js, etc.)

Knowledge of responsive CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, etc.)

Have experience with dynamic stylesheet languages (LESS, Sass)

Not required, but would rock if you:


Have built Firefox/Chrome extensions

Have good knowledge of JavaScript performance

Have experience with node.js

Testing with PHPUnit (+Behat/Selenium would be very nice)

Application profiling/optimizing (XDebug, XHProof, caching...)

OOP concepts and design patterns

Advanced level of relational database knowledge, including query optimization and profiling.

You want to explore:


Building scalable web applications for thousands of users

Building real-time web applications (node.js/socket.io)

Creating APIs for mobile device

Would rock if you:


Understand and have awareness of web application security

Know how to prevent an over-engineered solution to a problem that doesn't exist

You must:


Have at least 3 years of relevant experience

Have a strong, demonstrable portfolio or work that you are proud of (a GitHub or StackOverflow profile would be great)
