It is my great satisfaction that after four years since I first laid my hands on the commands of a flying machine, I passed all necessary examinations and officially became a soaring pilot.
It took longer than it should, primarily because of my work and restless spirit, but I was determined to make this childhood dream a reality and one day soar the skies on my own.
Pictured is the glider I took the final test on and also my first solo flight, Blanik L-13, The Phantom of the Sky, joined by my class of pilots and our instructors.
I have accumulated around 45 hours of flying, and I am looking forward to getting that number over 100 soon.
There is little in life that can compare to achieving your dreams. After all that is the whole point of living. Luckily I have couple of more, so it will stay exciting
