WordPress Plugin Development Beginner’s Guide released

The book I am presenting you today was created during 2008-2009. This was very lively period in the life of WordPress, during which three major versions (2.5, 2.6 and 2.7) saw the light of the day.

Such rapid development of the WordPress platform presented a challenge not only for potential WordPress plugin developers but for all users of WordPress who wanted to 'dig' under the hood a little and gain better understanding of WordPress inner workings. The reason being that no comprehensive guide existed that would incorporate all important areas of WordPress development, from hooks to plugin security.

So I gladly accepted the challenge from Packt Publishing to write a book on the matter and almost a year later, the book is now available, both in paperback and in electronic (PDF) form.
