No Frames

No frames removes the browser frames sometimes imposed on your site.

It has become a trend for top sites especially news and content aggregrators to show your site inside a frame (if you see a site toolbar on the top of the page it's usually using a frame).

Basically the visitor never leaves the site using the frame although they are viewing content created by you! This is done for multiple reasons and one is to improve the metrics of the site using the frame as 'visitor time on site' will improve only for the site using the frame and not you.

Purpose of No Frames plugin is to detect these cases and break your site free from the shackles of the frame, thus presenting the user with your full page.

This not only improves your visitor experience but your site metrics as well.

Thanks for the plugin. It works like a charm when IE/Firefox browser is used. However, when using Safari (on Windows) the frames still exists!

    I installed the plugin.

It works for internet explorer, but firefox still shows my site in someone else's frame.

    Kinda weird.

The plugin works like a charm, but there is an issue that force me to disable it sometimes.

Creadting/editing a post, if I use the "RB Internal Links" plugin (and perhaps also other plugins), your plugin does it's job as well :)
I think you must check if we are working on admin pages: on this case your plugin shouldn't do it's job.

The same issue happens when previewing a template.

Thanks, seems to work with Google Images-based frames as well, unlike another WP no frames plugin that had issues reported.

Note to others don't forget to rate the plugin at WP's Plugin Directory if you like it, just done so myself.

A nice plugin, I was in the process of writing something similar, but now that you have done it, there is no need :-).

And this plugin is definitely useful with more and more social networking and tiny url websites loading external websites in their own frame this becomes more of a hassle.
