SEO Smart Links

Support SEO Smart Links by buying the Premium version!  SEO Smart Links Premium is faster, with bug fixes and over 20 new features. What is new?

SEO Smart Links can automatically link keywords and phrases in your posts and comments with corresponding posts, pages, categories and tags on your blog.

Further SEO Smart links allows you to set up your own keywords and set of matching URLs.

Finally SEO Smart links allows you to set nofollow attribute and open links in new window.

Everything happens completely transparent, and you can edit the options from the administration settings panel.

How it Works?

SEO Smart Links looks for keyword phrases that match the titles of your posts and pages by default (and you can enable categories and tags matching too). These phrases are then turned into the links. The matching is case insensitive and the original case is preserved.

So If I mention Amazing Grace, which is my theme and also the title of one of my pages, it will be automatically converted into a link.

Everything happens completely transparent, and you can edit the options from the administration settings panel.

I installed your plugin, but it doesn't seem to create automatic link between posts. Does the title of a post has to be the exact match of the keyword phrase or the title just need to contain the keyword phrase? And does your plugin work with all themes?

Bug -- when entering using same page internal anchor links, SEO SMART LINKS causes them to open in a new window when the setting "open in new window" is set.

I've noticed that the free version of the plugin doesn't work on excerpts, but only on content, so if my theme shows excerpts on homepage or category page, the plugin has no affect on these pages.
Is that intended? Is there a way to make it work on excerpts as well? does the pro version do support that?

This plug-in is fantastical! Nicely done.

I was wondering if there can be a setting that has the plugin start their auto-linking after a certain amount of characters? I prefer to have my links in the 2nd half of a blog post, and setting up where the plugin can start would be awesome!

I've used this for some years now, and it's still a great plugin. Thanks!

Does anyone know how I can get make sure 'Canon 5 D Mark III' doesn't contain the link to 'Canon 5 D'? At the moment, the 'Canon 5 D' (Mark III) part of the sentence is linked. Am I able to use "" or something to signify how much of the sentence should be linked?
